Fire Warriors
Chapter one

Large explosions surround me, the green skin Orks assault our city of Tashen. I can only see Orks for miles a round. The commander shasu’kiys ordered us to hold the wall and wait for reinforcements, there is only 5 shas’la and a XV88 Broad Side Battle Suite team. They stand at lest 9 units tall equipped with powerful rail canons witch made them slow and bulky. “Second wave incoming shas’la!” yelled the lead battle suite. “Quickly coordinate your valleys brother’s,” I yelled knowing all well that they understood. “Sir transition coming in!” Somehow I didn’t think it was reinforcements are coming. “Patch it thou.” The voice I herd next was of Ahnel’shores the ethereal leader of the Tau hear on kronis “Warrior’s of the fire cast we stand ageist the greedy the hatless and the mad. Now more then ever we fight for The Grater Good!” that speech brought moral up from 0 to 100%. But the Orks were still charging us and we mite not withstand this one it’s a huge wave. So fare all attempts to stop them have failed miserably though we mined the area a round the perimeter. “WAAAGH!” cried the orks as they charged massing over the dead bodies firing mindlessly in the air. “Shas’ui enemy forces are leaving their flank exposed”. The orks eager for blood left their backs exposed for outer friends the vespids who where holding position 7 units away “get them on the com! Now!” we started firing and held firing till the orks where slotered by the vespids 2 cycles later. The buck of our force is deployed to the far south of our position and they and they have bin calling for 5 cycles “ we knead reinforcements on the double shas’vre!” and that was the final thing we heard from them but we needed to call in and report. “Shas'O Kais we are fiishing up the last of the barbareans but we would like to help the fire warriors to the south” a his of statik garbeled the camander but I herd “yes shas’vre you may ingage” so we mached to the hirulen pinisual 5 cycles pased by and we reched ouer destanation and they where nowhere to be seen “ shas’O kais the warriors arent here! There nowhere to be seen!” then we here it a loud battle criy we terned and saw a larg force of space marines charging our flank “Deploy my Shas’la! Cut them down!” I yeled as my shas’la set up “ eat plasma fire” the XV88’s started to diploy but the humans where carging forochesly they will be on us in milla cycles then we heard the rower of a drop ship, as if it came as an omen the marines cried in anger while they turned and headed towered its destination. “By thee ethereals they are retreating we won” but I know better, “Shas’la entrench and hold for orders, they will be coming back soon and we must be ready” we have fought the orks we have fought the imperial gila, we have even fought the cultists of chaos but the space marines are the best the humans can send. But there weakness is there hope in there emperor. The fools are not even worried about there own lives they would charge blindly into a hale of fire they may survive a few hits but they would fall vary fast. I turned to one of my Shas’la and yelled “call in for support when they turn around they won’t be happy” he made a small gesture and headed for the com station “shas’vre we wont hold if where attacked” I turned slowly “you wont to abandon the grater good?” he looked shocked that I sad that “no but I just think that this position inset essential to the defense of the city” “you think that this is not essential hum? Then let me spell it out for you. If we fall the city will be exposed to the green skins, then the inner and not as trained inner force shall be ripped apart! Then the city falls because of you!” he looked wonded like I had shot him squar in the chest “im sorry shas’vre my second gessing may have indangered the grater good” I though that i shod not kill him we would nead a meat sheld. “neaver mind that we must be redy for the retaliation!” the cadra will rewored me for defending the valley.

“this is cadra camand calling for fire sqad 6 what is your situation? 6 ahhh..sir we lost the tranmition.” Shas’O Kais was the gratesed comander I have ever seen but he kneads lessers, as a shas’la I must wach for enomy transmitions and cowordenate our worriors. “the shas’vre can hold his own we must consitrate on the uther teems” he must have thought that they where dead. “Comander! We have reports that the orks are heading to 7 squad’s position!” said the coordinator on the other chare. In the large room there where at lest 20 shas’la watching the progress of the army each had there own sector and teem to watch, mine was squad 7 and 6. I had watched them go across the ork infested land and seen them win countless victory but this time they wouldn’t survive. The orks had them surrounded and out gunned, with no support they would surly fall. “Sir we knead to send support to squad 6, I feel they will not be able to hold the valley” I said with confidence hoping that he would send something, he stared striate out onto the tactical display and sighed “there is no available support, until there is a brake in the battle they are on there own” he seemed to as thought in deep thought “they will hold as long as they can, I know it” unlike the commanders of the other armies Shas’O Kais cared for the safety of his men, the loss of even one fire warrior was a loss as grate as any “things look worse then I thought sir” said the same coordinator “you better see this” he paused and waited for orders Kais turned to him “put it on the display!” he bellowed with a moment of laps he changed the display to one sector. In the center was squad 7 and 6 it showed the terrain trees, marshes and rocks dotted the landscape and like a tide the outer region turned red with orks millions of them. I couldn’t help but my jaw hit the bottom of my helmet “grate tau! Call the hammerhead squadrons to head to them and tell them to hurry” he yelled in distress he must have thought what I did, how could the orks hold this many of there kind and hide them for this long “tell all available units to head to them NOW!!” I watched as everyone in the room scrambled to call all noncombat units to head there. As I sat there trying to figer out how they hid there numbers I wondered to me self, what kind of ork could lead an army that vast

Mean while in the ork mob there leader Gorguts head hunter watched his boys [solders] march onward towards there WAGGH [ork term for war] “boss!” yelled one of his boys “theys putting up a right good fight” Gorguts laughed “hahaha thes gray skins ant nuthing to the boys, wes guna win this WAGGH.” though thes boys where new and hadn’t fought with him they knew that he was the biggest and the strongest, some of the boys wondered how he got his name but that was simple. On Loren 5 Gorguts clamed the heads of the chaos lord Krull and the head of the imperial guard leader general Stern. The only head that he didn’t get was the eldar leader far seer Talder. But this time around he wasn’t in it for heads he wonted kronis to use as a staging ground for his future WAGGH’s. now he thought wes gana head to the gray skins bace and wipes them out. “boss! Theys too strong!” he turned quaky to see an ork cowering “whats?! Yous gana run?!” just before the ork could reply Gorguts lunged his claw arm squishing the ork and then bashing his head on the ground and throwing the body away “that’s whats wes do to boys who cant hold there own” he barked at the other orks that watched “ennyone else have something to say? Good now gets back to killing!” the WAGGH in his mind was going well, he already got tons of heads for his stick but it is never enough. His boys where some survivors from the clans on Loren 5, berner boys, the foot stompas, the quick mecks, rocket rangers. But for all there worth most of them aren’t worth there cappas. But they good to cover the tanks, so it evens out “send the sqwigs wes nead to beat thes boys if wes lets the space mereen boys get a hold of the place I mite not have enuf time for other things to do”as if on sencing that he was leaving a sniper tried to kill him missing be an inch “RAHH!! Kill that grot!” he yelled to the boys

As a space marine scout Deren didn’t have much push in the ranks but what he did have was stealth and his sniper. 3 days he traced the ork leader, waiting for the perfect shot that would never come. Till today, if he hadn’t have hesitated the large ork would be missing half his head, but now he has a bigger problem the orks know he’s here and now they will be searching for him he signaled to his battle brother head back to camp. He replied with ok as they both headed to there staging ground, he wondered what the fate of scout squad 2 was they hadn’t bin in contact for day and where presumed dead, he had fought with thou men for years and it would be a sad day if they where
